TOP TEN Excuses - If You Get Caught Sleeping At Your Desk At Work:

10. "They told me at the blood bank this might happen."
  9. "This is just a 15 minute power-nap like they raved about in that time management course you sent me to."
  8. "Whew! Guess I left the top off the white-out. You probably got here just in time!"
 7. "I wasn't sleeping! I was meditating on the mission statement and envisioning a new paradigm."
  6. "I was testing my keyboard for drool resistance."
 5. "I was doing a highly specific Yoga exercise to relieve work-related stress. Are you discriminatory toward people who practice Yoga?"
 4. "Why did you interrupt me? I had almost figured out a solution to our biggest problem."
 3. "The coffee machine is broken..."
 2. "Someone must've put decaf in the wrong pot..."

And the #1 excuse to say if you get caught sleeping at your desk.

 1. " ...... AMEN!"

Letters We Love

The cruise just made me want to see more of Alaska. It was relaxing you almost forgot what day it was. Traveling with an 8 year I was surprised of all the things for her to do. I would of liked to of spent a longer day in Ketchakan and skipped the Friday night in Victoria. Victoria was nice but I went because of the Alaska so I didn't get to see a lot of things because when I shore excursion was finished it was time to get back on the ship. The people and service on the ship was outstanding. I work in the hotel industry and I only wish I could get a hotel to run as smoothly.  The Cruiseman's service was great. Kept us informed and made it stress free.

port spotlight  -- Harwich

Harwich posts record number of transit calls

With the arrival of MSC Opera, Harwich International Port is celebrating a record number of seven transit calls for the season. This is MSC Cruises’ second visit, following MSC Lirica last year.

Some 1,869 passengers will be in transit on the ship, with a further 146 embarking at Harwich.

‘We are keen to encourage stopovers such as this to the port, as they enable us to showcase the tremendous range of local attractions on offer, both within Harwich itself, and in nearby “Constable country,”’ said Chris Lewis, ceo of Hutchison Ports (UK) Limited, which owns Harwich International Port.
