Cruises    from    Norfolk,    Va.    are    back    on    the    schedule    at Carnival. The     Miami-based     line     announced     the     2,758-passenger Carnival   Triumph   would   make   Norfolk   its   home   during   May   of 2019 as well as later in the year. The     deployment     will     come     after     the     18-year-old     ship undergoes   a   multi-million   dollar   makeover   that   will   bring   new food, beverage and entertainment options.  Carnival    dropped    Norfolk    from    its    schedule    for    2018    after offering sailings from the city for several years.  The   new   Norfolk   voyages   on   Triumph   will   be   five-   and   six- night   trips   to   The   Bahamas.   Two   five-night   cruises   will   depart on   May   12   and   May   17   of   2019   and   feature   calls   at   Nassau and   Freeport   in   The   Bahamas.   Six-night   cruises   will   depart   on May    6,    Oct.    14    and    Oct.    20    of    2019    and    feature    stops    at Nassau, Freeport and private island Half Moon Cay.
